We offer complimentary furnishing design consultations in-store to our customers. Having photos and dimensions of your space on hand will allow us to best assist you

In-Home Consultation:

Our expertise lies in helping clients make thoughtful design choices that encompass everything from finishes and furnishings to lighting and accessories. We are pleased to offer you in-home consultations that can be booked during our regular store hours. During the consultation, we will discuss how you use your space, your style, and any challenges you may have with your space, in addition to taking measurements and photos. We will then come back to you with a curated design plan that reflects your vision. Included in your consultation is a mood board and floor plan that includes furniture placement. Fee structure is based per room, starting at $150 per one hour consultation. Larger design projects may be subject to additional charges.

Thea – Interior Decorator

Meet Thea, our talented interior decorator with a Diploma in Interior Design. She provides personalized design services that cater to your needs and lifestyle. Whether you’re looking to add new furniture or design an entire space, Thea can guide you in making the right choices. From space planning to 3D renderings, colour choices, finishes, and decor, she can help make your inspiration photos a reality.

Interior design has always been Thea’s passion. While honing her design skills, she has became an expert on our curated collection of brands here at Portobello Home.

Thea has successfully completed a range of projects with our customers, and is excited about the future of our team at Portobello Home.

Fee Structure

A basic in home consult starts at $150/hour +HST, but every project is unique and requires a different level of time commitment. Please enquire about fees that would be applicable to your particular project.

Laura has an amazing sense of style. I started out buying a few pieces of furniture from Portobello Home. I came to realize after spending much time in the store that Laura was a great resource for helping me choose furniture. Before this I would just randomly buy things I liked, but the end result wasn’t always what I had hoped it would be.
